I also offer training, and mentoring for non-fundraisers who find themselves in roles where fund development is demanded. Bio
Yvette Guigueno is director of development at Pacific Opera Victoria where she oversees philanthropic and corporate relationships. Yvette was part of a working group at Opera America who adapted Community-Centric Fundraising Principles for opera organizations. She previously spent five years at Royal Roads University leading the fundraising team. Yvette began her career in fundraising in 2007 at the Victoria Symphony and worked in audience development before settling into sponsorship management. Yvette is active in the community and sits as a board member for Kaleidoscope Theatre, where she is vice president and leads the fundraising committee. She also works with youth as a roller skating coach. Yvette earned an M.B.A. in executive management from Royal Roads University and holds CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification. Her heritage includes Kanaka (Hawaiian) and Stó:lõ ancestry.
